Role Overview
A successful candidate will participate in the transformation and implementation of a critical batch processing system. The ideal candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of interacting with different groups and various levels of a large organization. As part of an agile scrum team, the candidate will work with users to refine requirements, design and develop high-quality code, and develop scalable database systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the transformation and implementation of a critical batch processing system.
- Work with users to refine requirements, design, and develop high-quality ETL Informatica code.
- Develop Unix scripts and scalable database systems.
- Act as a hands-on architect and developer, driving design and implementation initiatives.
- Work within an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) framework, participating in processes like pair programming and daily stand-ups.
- Interact with different groups and various levels of a large organization.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 10+ years of professional experience developing solutions in ETL Informatica.
- 5-10 years of experience in a Unix environment and with Shell scripting.
- Experience with Oracle database and query performance optimizations.
- Experience with data warehousing and OLTP solutions.
- Experience with Oracle 19c.
- Experience working in an Agile process (Scrum/Kanban).
Technical Skills:- Strong proficiency in PL/SQL and stored procedures.
- Recent experience with Informatica version 10.5.2 is preferred.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the problem domain.
- Proficiency with SQL, Hadoop, and Kafka.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with domain-driven design.
- Experience with distributed systems.
- Relevant industry experience in areas such as Compliance or Entity/Transaction Scanning.
- Experience with Java/J2EE technologies.
- Experience with JIRA.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00/hour to $68.26/hour. A comprehensive benefits package is available to eligible employees.
