Job Description:
We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Quality Assurance (BA/QA) Consultant to support functional analysis, testing, and release readiness for our Oracle HCM platform. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys diving into both business requirements and system behavior, helping ensure solutions are accurate, reliable, and aligned with HR needs across Core HR, Payroll, and Benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis:
- Partner with HR, Payroll, and Benefits stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements
- Translate requirements into functional specifications, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria
- Serve as a functional subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle HCM Cloud modules, including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent Management
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by guiding stakeholders and clarifying expected system behavior
Quality Assurance:
- Participate in test planning for Oracle HCM quarterly updates, patches, and major releases
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases (functional, integration, regression, and UAT)
- Validate system functionality against business requirements and acceptance criteria
- Document, track, and communicate defects, risks, and testing outcomes
- Support release readiness activities and production deployment validation
What You’ll Deliver
- Functional requirements and acceptance criteria documentation
- Test plans, test cases, and execution results
- Defect logs with prioritization and resolution tracking
- Release readiness summaries and risk assessments
What You Bring
- Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud
- Experience supporting HR, Payroll, and Benefits business processes
- Strong background in SaaS application testing, including regression testing for Oracle quarterly updates
- Ability to operate across both Business Analyst and Quality Assurance responsibilities
- Experience with QA methodologies and test automation
- Strong analytical thinking, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
