Job Type: CONTRACT

Pay Range: $40 - $42/hr. on W2

Top 3 Required

1) Minimum 5 years' experience with Multichannel Paid Media Management

2) Minimum 5 years' experience with Technical SEO + AEO/GEO (AI Discoverability)

3) Minimum 5 years' experience with Web Conversion Optimization & Experimentation - Several years running A/B tests

Summary:

We're looking for a data-driven, resourceful digital marketer to lead and manage the top-of-funnel growth engine for our startup acquisition strategy. This role will oversee paid media, SEO, AEO/GEO discoverability, and web conversion optimization to generate qualified momentum into the startup program. You'll collaborate closely with the Startups Content Marketing team and Web Operations to ensure blog and web surfaces are optimized, discoverable, and aligned with founder needs. Additionally, you'll work with the Direct Buy Team to run and optimize paid ad campaigns.

Required Skills & Experience:

The strongest candidate comes with 5-8+ years of hands?on performance and growth marketing experience owning multi?channel paid media across platforms like Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and YouTube.

They should be highly fluent in technical SEO, including indexation, metadata, structured data, and schema markup, and ideally have experience with AEO/GEO optimization to help Microsoft for Startups surface in AI-driven search and generative engines. A strong operator mindset is critical-someone who runs constant experiments (bids, audiences, creatives, landing pages), manages CPC/CPA/CPQL targets, and iterates quickly with measurable impact. They should also be comfortable partnering deeply with Marketing Ops to maintain attribution integrity, dashboards, tag standards, and performance reporting, including weekly memos and monthly deep dives. Experience in web conversion optimization, A/B testing, and collaborating with Web Ops is important, as is the ability to provide actionable SEO/AEO briefs to Content teams.

Tools familiarity (Adobe Analytics, paid ads platforms) and a bias toward data?driven recommendations rounds out the ideal background.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a technical or operational field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
