Location: Chandler, AZ

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical Engineering team, supporting the development, integration, and testing of advanced technologies for complex systems. In this role, you will collaborate closely with design engineers, integration teams, and cross-functional partners in a fast-paced environment focused on innovation, reliability, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Apply a broad understanding of electrical engineering standards, industry best practices, and internal technical guidelines.

Demonstrate strong technical depth and working knowledge of related engineering disciplines.

Prepare and present engineering materials for Requirements Reviews and Design Reviews.

Conduct qualification and acceptance testing, characterization testing, troubleshooting, and review of test data for complex system designs.

Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends indicating potential component degradation or out-of-tolerance behaviour.

Execute testing to characterize off-nominal component behaviour and performance deviations.

Actively contribute to team discussions, decisions, and shared goals in a positive and collaborative manner.

Deliver high-quality support to internal teams and external stakeholders.

Seek out and provide relevant technical information to support project needs and customer requirements.

Escalate issues appropriately and with discipline when required.

Derive and decompose system requirements using design documentation, technical sources, and engineering discussions.

Evaluate risks, uncertainties, and technical trade-offs associated with requirements and design approaches.

Participate in trade studies for internally developed projects and externally procured equipment.

Maintain a strong safety mindset throughout all engineering tasks and activities.

Conduct formal peer reviews of engineering designs, analysis work, and technical documentation.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 9+ years of experience, or
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with missile systems, aerospace systems, or related engineering standards.

Hands-on experience in the design, testing, integration, and deployment of electrical components or subsystems.

Experience releasing engineering documentation such as technical drawings, specifications, and test procedures.

Experience resolving nonconformances and performing root cause analysis for electronic systems.

Strong ability to evaluate uncertainty, risk, and technical constraints in design solutions.

Experience mentoring and cross-training team members across diverse electrical technologies and system architectures.

Proficiency using common electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, digital multimeters, and electronic loads.

Experience using analytical tools such as MATLAB or Python for data reduction, trend analysis, and characterization.
