Role Overview
We are seeking a UI5 Developer for a contract role based in San Antonio, Texas. This position requires working on-site a minimum of three days per week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building custom applications within an S/4 HANA environment, demonstrating the ability to work independently and take high-level functional designs to create solutions.
Required Qualifications
<> Experience building custom applications with SAP UI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.<> Proficiency with Business Application Studio (Client).<> Experience working in an S/4 HANA environment.<> Strong understanding of modularized ABAP code.<> Demonstrated ability to work independently and possess strong communication skills.<> Good understanding of object-oriented programming, MVC, and data modeling concepts.<> Experience with Gateway Services, OData, and CDS views.
Preferred Qualifications
<> Modular experience with TSW or IS-Oil.<> Experience working with Git for version control.<> Familiarity with new S/4HANA coding syntax and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
<> Build custom UI5 applications with a focus on JavaScript, not Fiori development.<> Work within an S/4 HANA environment to develop and deploy solutions.<> Collaborate with technical and functional teams to analyze and design solutions.<> Develop modularized ABAP code and handle full lifecycle custom development, including enhancements.<> Resolve system defects identified during the testing phase.<> Adhere to development standards and follow the change management process for application deployment.<> Work independently with minimal guidance to deliver on project priorities.
