Responsibilities
SAP PaPM Cloud – Technical Development
• Design, build, and maintain SAP PaPM Cloud models, including environments, models, versions, and processes.
• Develop and support complex allocation cycles, including cost, revenue, and statistical allocations.
• Configure and optimize PaPM functions to handle high‑volume data processing efficiently.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve PaPM calculation and execution issues.
• Monitor and improve PaPM model performance and runtime efficiency.
• Design and implement multi‑step allocation logic using PaPM allocation functions.
• Validate allocation results and ensure reconciliation with source systems.
• Optimize PaPM models to ensure accuracy, consistency, and performance.
Security & Authorizations
• Configure and manage role‑based access control (RBAC) within SAP PaPM Cloud.
• Assign and manage users, roles, and authorizations for:
○ Model access
○ Data visibility
○ Execution and administrative privileges
Transports & Release Management
• Manage PaPM Cloud transports across DEV, QA, and PROD environments.
• Create and manage transport requests and dependencies.
• Troubleshoot transport‑related issues and ensure successful deployments.
• Support release management and version control for PaPM artifacts.
• Coordinate deployments and perform post‑transport validation.
Interfaces & Data Integration
• Design, build, and support interfaces between source systems and PaPM / SAP HANA.
• Work with SAP HANA tables and views to ensure reliable data extraction and processing.
• Support integrations using SLT, SDI, SAP Datasphere, or file‑based interfaces, as applicable.
• Ensure accurate data loads, validation, and reconciliation across systems.
• Troubleshoot data flow and interface issues end‑to‑end.
