Summary

ServiceNow Administrator / Engineer
Overview
We are looking for a Systems Engineer specializing in ServiceNow and Workplace Automation who will take responsibility for the administration, configuration, and operational health of our ServiceNow platform. This position is dedicated to ensuring ITSM stability, scalability, and ongoing improvement across multiple environments. You will be the crucial figure who resolves complex issues and ensures seamless production operations.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and support three distinct ServiceNow instances: Production, Development, and QA.
Manage and maintain an extensive Service Catalog with over 500 catalog items, overseeing lifecycle management, fulfillment workflows, and optimizing performance.
Take charge of CMDB administration, including governance of data models, integration processes, data quality assurance, and continuous accuracy improvements.
Configure and sustain ITSM modules such as Incident, Request, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Asset, and others.
Perform platform configuration, upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance to ensure system integrity.
Enforce best practices for managing instances, update sets, and promoting changes across environments.
Troubleshoot complex platform issues and conduct thorough root cause analysis.
Work closely with stakeholders to translate operational requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
Maintain comprehensive platform documentation and uphold operational standards.
Required Skills & Experience
Senior-level experience in administering ServiceNow ITSM within an enterprise setting.
Extensive hands-on experience managing multi-instance environments, including Production, Development, and QA.
Demonstrated capability in supporting large-scale Service Catalogs with more than 500 items.
Strong expertise in CMDB architecture, including relationships and data governance.
In-depth understanding of ServiceNow platform configuration, including forms, workflows, business rules, and access control lists (ACLs).
Experience supporting platform upgrades and releases while minimizing operational disruptions.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and make sound technical decisions.
Nice to Have
ServiceNow certifications such as CSA and CIS-ITSM.
Experience with Discovery, Integrations, or Performance Analytics.
Basic scripting experience in JavaScript for administrative enhancements.
