Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Guidewire BillingCenter professionals (SMEs, Architects, and Developers) with strong Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain expertise. The ideal candidates must have hands-on experience in Guidewire BillingCenter implementations, integrations, configuration, and support across large-scale insurance environments.
Position: 1: Guidewire BillingCenter SME (Subject Matter Expert)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead BillingCenter functional and technical discussions with business stakeholders.
- Must possess Guidewire Certification Specialist or Professional only (Associate certifications will not be considered)
- Act as domain expert for P&C billing lifecycle, including:
- Policy billing
- Agency billing
- Direct bill
- Installment plans
- Payment processing
- Delinquency and collections
- Commission calculations
- Drive requirements gathering and translate into BillingCenter configurations.
- Provide best practices and solution recommendations.
- Support implementation, upgrades, and optimization initiatives.
- Mentor technical and functional teams.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of P&C Insurance experience.
- 6+ years of Guidewire BillingCenter experience.
Strong understanding of:
- Billing workflows
- Invoicing and payments
- Account management
- Dunning processes
Experience in BillingCenter integration with:
- PolicyCenter
- ClaimCenter
- External payment gateways
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
Position: 2: Guidewire BillingCenter Architect
Key Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end BillingCenter architecture solutions.
- Define integration patterns (REST/SOAP/Web Services/Messaging).
- Design data models, batch processes, and performance tuning strategies.
- Lead migration, cloud transformation, and upgrade initiatives.
- Define coding standards and governance framework.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects and business teams.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in P&C Insurance.
- 7+ years of Guidewire BillingCenter implementation experience.
- Must possess Guidewire Certification Specialist or Professional only (Associate certifications will not be considered)
Strong expertise in:
- Guidewire Data Model
- Integration frameworks
- Gosu
- Guidewire configuration & customization
Experience with:
- Cloud implementations (Guidewire Cloud preferred)
- API integrations
- Messaging queues (Kafka, MQ)
- Prior experience as Technical Architect or Solution Architect in BillingCenter projects.
Position: 3: Guidewire BillingCenter Developer
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and customize Guidewire BillingCenter modules.
- Develop enhancements using Gosu.
- Build and support integrations.
- Develop batch jobs and workflows.
- Perform unit testing and support SIT/UAT.
- Troubleshoot production issues.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of Guidewire BillingCenter development experience.
- Must possess Guidewire Certification Specialist or Professional only (Associate certifications will not be considered)
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Gosu
- PCF
- Data Model extensions
- Web services/APIs
- SQL
- Knowledge of BillingCenter entities and transactions.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Mandatory Requirements (All Roles)
- Strong Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience Mandatory.
- At least one full lifecycle Guidewire BillingCenter implementation.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice to Have
Guidewire certifications.
