The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is partner-tracking a visionary technical leader to spearhead the strategic growth of an expanding Advanced Technology Engineering division. In this high-impact role, you will champion the technical evolution of advanced component production, transforming complex client designs into high-yield, manufacturable solutions.

Acting as the critical technical bridge between commercial teams and production facilities, you will directly influence market expansion, drive revenue growth, and lead the charge in bringing next-generation components from initial concept to large-scale fabrication. This is an extraordinary opportunity to embed yourself within an organization heavily investing in state-of-the-art equipment and elite human capital to dominate the specialized molding sector.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect Component Solutions: Evaluate complex customer blueprints and CAD models, engineering strategic design-for-manufacturability modifications to optimize component compatibility with cutting-edge injection molding capabilities.

  • Drive Engineering Appraisals: Generate comprehensive manufacturing quotations, synthesizing accurate projections for raw material volumes, operational cycle rates, specialized tooling, auxiliary fixtures, and required capital expenditures.

  • Champion Prototype Deployment: Oversee the end-to-end manufacturing and delivery of elite engineering samples and functional prototypes, ensuring strict adherence to precision tolerances and performance benchmarks.

  • Lead Client Engagement: Serve as the primary technical authority during sophisticated engineering consultations with corporate clients, translating advanced market requirements into actionable internal execution plans.

  • Navigate Product Launches: Direct cross-functional Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) teams through early-stage phase gates, actively participating across the entire launch lifecycle to guarantee seamless transition into full-scale manufacturing.

What You Bring

  • Domain Expertise: Proven track record in product or applications engineering, specifically focused within metal injection molding (MIM) or advanced powdered metallurgy sectors.

  • Design Mastery: Proficient hands-on capability with CAD software to modify, optimize, and refine high-precision solid models and technical prints.

  • Client-Facing Acumen: Demonstrated success serving as a key technical liaison, managing complex engineering dialogues with sophisticated corporate stakeholders.

  • Quality Framework Knowledge: Strong familiarity with APQP methodologies, stage-gate manufacturing processes, and rigorous production approval standards.

  • Industry Versatility: A background operating within high-demand manufacturing segments (such as automotive, motor vehicles, or advanced precision components) with a dedication to engineering excellence.

Compensation & Total Rewards

Core Compensation

  • Competitive Annual Base Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 (commensurate with specialized depth and experience).
