IT Manager

Description

We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking IT Manager to oversee the technology systems at our non-profit organization in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will ensure the reliability, security, and effectiveness of both administrative and instructional technology systems. You will collaborate with leadership, faculty, and staff to develop and implement strategic plans that enhance technology integration and support the organization's mission of innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of campus-wide technology systems, including network infrastructure, data systems, and cloud-based platforms.
Ensure the highest levels of system availability, reliability, and security to support organizational operations.
Collaborate with leadership and faculty to align technology initiatives with long-term strategic goals.
Manage and support Apple devices such as Mac, iPad, and Apple TV in an educational or enterprise environment.
Administer Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms, including Jamf Pro, Veracross, Canvas, and Intune.
Provide guidance and technical support for integrating technology into classroom instruction.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance the effectiveness and security of technology systems.
Coordinate training and resources for staff and faculty to ensure effective use of technology tools.
Monitor and address emerging trends and advancements in technology to continually improve systems.
Foster collaboration among departments to ensure technology solutions meet diverse needs.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience of five or more years.
Proven expertise in managing Apple devices (Mac, iPad, Apple TV) within educational or enterprise settings.
Hands-on experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms such as Jamf Pro, Veracross, Canvas, Jamf School, or Intune.
Extensive knowledge of managing enterprise-level technology environments, including networks and communication systems.
Familiarity with supporting instructional technology to enhance classroom integration and effectiveness.
Strong ability to collaborate with faculty and staff across various disciplines and grade levels.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Minimum of seven years of experience in technology management or related roles.
