Senior Business Intelligence Analyst - (Power BI, Sharepoint, SQL)

A leading infrastructure and energy services company is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to serve as the critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex requirements into actionable BI solutions. In this role, you will work closely with process specialists, internal business clients, and IT groups to gather requirements, evaluate solutions, and deliver reporting and analytics capabilities that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. Day-to-day, you will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define functional specifications, develop use cases, and continuously improve BI processes and workflows. This is a high-impact position embedded within a collaborative Business Intelligence team at the company''s corporate headquarters, where your analytical expertise will directly influence how the business consumes and acts on data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into clear functional specifications, use cases, and requirements documentation.

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders across multiple business units.

• Partner with process specialists and IT groups to evaluate proposed solutions, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to existing BI applications and workflows.

• Conduct analytical monitoring of key business metrics, proactively surfacing trends, anomalies, and opportunities to inform executive and operational decision-making.

• Collaborate with vendors, internal clients, and cross-functional teams to collect, clarify, and document business requirements with precision and thoroughness.

• Author and maintain user manuals, process documentation, and training materials to ensure consistent adoption of BI tools and best practices across the organization.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst or BI Analyst with a strong track record of bridging technical and non-technical audiences in a corporate environment.

• Proficiency with Power BI for dashboard development and data visualization, including experience building reports consumed by executive and operational stakeholders.

• Hands-on experience with SQL for data querying, validation, and supporting BI solution development across relational databases.

• Experience with SharePoint for documentation management, collaboration portals, or BI content distribution.

• Proven ability to conduct requirements gathering sessions, produce functional specifications, and manage stakeholder relationships across business and IT domains.

• Strong analytical monitoring skills with experience leveraging data to drive business decisions and process improvements in a complex, multi-department environment.
