Business Systems Analyst

Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this contract-to-permanent role, you will play a vital part in analyzing business needs, developing system solutions, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
Analyze and document business requirements to support system enhancements and process improvements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and clarify project needs and objectives.
Develop detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) to guide technical teams in solution development.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for system design and implementation.
Work closely with development teams to ensure solutions align with organizational goals and user needs.
Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to ensure project milestones are met.
Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and propose effective solutions.
Partner with quality assurance teams to validate system functionality and ensure requirements are met.
Create and maintain project documentation, including workflows and process diagrams.
Provide ongoing support and training to end-users following system implementations.

Requirements

Proven experience in business analysis and working with business systems.
Strong knowledge of creating and managing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and practices.
Ability to translate business needs into actionable technical specifications.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact with stakeholders and technical teams.
Proficiency in gap analysis and identifying process improvement opportunities.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing project documentation.
Experience in facilitating Agile Scrum ceremonies and driving project progress.
