IT Support TechnicianPosition OverviewAn IT Support Technician is needed to provide advanced technical assistance within a fast-paced support environment. This role serves as an escalation point for the service desk, supporting hardware, software, and networked devices through phone, ticket, email, remote tools, and hands-on troubleshooting. The technician will assist with installations, repairs, and device deployments while maintaining strong customer service and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities- Assist technical staff with installation and repair of printers, video conferencing equipment, and various peripherals.
- Respond to user inquiries via phone, ticket, and email in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting for desktop and laptop hardware and software issues.
- Support documented Level 3 tasks using established runbooks or knowledge base materials.
- Escalate complex issues with clear documentation of steps taken.
- Suggest improvements to processes, workflows, and support procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of supported products and services.
- Participate in device imaging, deployment, and configuration activities.
- Support mobile devices, including phones and tablets.
- Perform basic account administration and assist with routine system tasks.
- Collaborate with networking and infrastructure teams when needed.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Required Experience & Skills- At least 5 years of IT support experience.
- Strong proficiency in hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Experience supporting networked printers and resolving related issues.
- Familiarity with device imaging and deployment processes.
- Ability to support desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Basic understanding of account administration and cloud-based environments.
- General networking knowledge helpful for cross-team collaboration.
- Proficiency with common productivity applications.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bristol, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
