The Technology Product Management Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Responsibilities:
  • Own and develop the product / value stream vision which will be the north star for driving strategic outcomes for the Scrum Team(s) supported
  • Inspire the team to deliver upon the goals
  • Lead the product functional design process and create the product roadmap based upon an intimate knowledge of the users and technology
  • Work in an agile environment by continuously reviewing the business needs, refining priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables, and identifying opportunities and risks
  • Responsible to create Product features and epics functionalities in JIRA which enable achievement of business goals by collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Create and own the product backlog prioritizing features which enable maximizing the business value
  • Facilitate backlog decomposition sessions with the technology teams to clearly define requirements from a user perspective, inclusive of acceptance criteria breaking down large stories for the team to consume in one sprint
  • Participate in the testing /review sessions and provide support for release.
  • Oversees user acceptance testing to identify and remedy defects and approves final testing results.
  • Accept the work completed by the team prior to release to production.
  • Drive alignment of peer Product teams and coordinates with / understands Stakeholder priorities to act as the voice of the customer.
  • Interact with the Architecture and Engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure successful delivery meeting Definition of Done
  • Track and report product performance post-launch to evaluate / request future investment.
  • Create strong feedback loops by leading the agile events seeking continuous feedback from stakeholders and incorporate in the backlog to achieve the desired outcomes
  • Develop the culture of using OKRs to ensure team members align on the purpose of the work and cascade feedback related to risk and dependencies
  • Participate in Scrum events representing the Product, and alignment with the Product Manager vision.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:
  • 6 -10 years years working in agile culture with 3+ years of relevant experience working as a Product Owner preferably in banking domain and within the AML area.
  • Proven ability to lead, prioritize, and influence cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Demonstrated skill in prioritizing tasks to deliver maximum business value from multiple stakeholder requests.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders and driving collaboration.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to understand data requirements, create complex SQL queries, and analyze/validate data; experience with ETL projects.
  • Problem-solver, curious, inquisitive, and detail-oriented.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and agile tools like Jira/MS Teams.
  • In-depth data analysis skills to synthesize findings and present insights.
  • Successful track record of on-time product development.
  • Experience facilitating collaborative sessions and aligning work with enterprise goals.
  • SAFE Product Owner certifications.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge on AML and working on Compliance / Regulatory domain , multi-year consent order type efforts
  • A passion for learning and a desire for personal growth, through self-study, formal classes, or on-the-job training
  • Be an active leader in the product owner community

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with customer centric mindset to focus on client needs
