job summary:
Contractor Responsibilities
a. Project Manager Task List. The Contractor, through the Contractor Representative(s) it provides, shall perform the following tasks as necessary to complete work for the OIT as assigned by the Department's Contract Manager:
1. Overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project-oriented work efforts.
2. Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
3. Assemble project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts daily, identify resource needs, perform quality review; and escalate functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
4. Track key project milestones and adjust project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers.
5. Coordinate communication with all areas of the enterprise that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort being managed.
6. Assist Program Manager(s) in partnering with senior management of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise.
7. Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques.
Mandatory Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience. Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is required.
A minimum of seven (7) years of IT work experience, including four (4) or more years managing projects. Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions.
Experience in the overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project oriented work efforts.
Experience establishing and implementing project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
Experience assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
Experience tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers.
Experience coordinating communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed.
Experience working with Program Manager(s) and in partnering with senior management of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise.

Able to work both on-site in Tallahassee, Florida, and through authorized telework.
