Job Overview: The Information Security Engineer 4 - Contingent will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of the organization's information systems. This position involves designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, risk management, and compliance.
Responsibilities: - Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures to safeguard information systems.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security threats.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into system designs and processes.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on security best practices and protocols.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in information security or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
- Experience with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption methods.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.
