Description
We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. Based in Irvine, California, this role focuses on driving impactful optimization strategies for a healthcare-focused organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of SEO tools and techniques to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive keyword research and analyze search intent to identify opportunities for increased visibility.
Develop and execute data-driven SEO strategies, optimizing technical, on-page, and content performance.
Collaborate with web and IT teams to address architecture, migrations, and technical enhancements.
Design and implement measurement frameworks and dashboards using tools like GA4, BrightEdge, SEMrush, and BI platforms.
Lead SEO experiments, analyze performance trends, and identify root causes for shifts in metrics.
Provide accurate forecasting and scenario modeling to support prioritization and budgeting decisions.
Create content strategies using topic clusters, gap analysis, and impactful briefs to guide development.
Serve as a subject-matter expert to cross-functional teams, including marketing, analytics, and web specialists.
Present detailed insights and actionable recommendations to senior leadership teams.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive SEO experience within enterprise or multi-site environments.
Proficiency in tools such as GA4, BrightEdge, SEMrush, and Excel/Google Sheets.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
Expertise in diagnosing technical SEO issues and collaborating with developers for solutions.
Familiarity with Core Web Vitals, log-file analysis, and crawl diagnostics.
Experience in forecasting, experimentation, and impact modeling.
Exposure to BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
