Our organization is seeking a Technology Business Systems Consultant to join the Financial Crimes Data, Platforms, and Reporting team. In this role, you will assist in writing in-depth business requirements and coordinate with technology resources to develop data and platform systems. You will act as a product owner for Financial Crimes applications, working closely with technology partners to develop solutions that satisfy complex business process needs in support of the Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment (EWRA) process.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or participate in providing technology initiatives for business problems.
- Contribute to the development of cost-effective systems and procedures.
- Partner with business and technology teams to evaluate business problems and provide technological solutions.
- Act as an internal consultant by using quality tools and process improvement to re-engineer technical processes.
- Collaborate with teams to evaluate and resolve issues, managing both project schedules and deliverables.
- Coordinate communication and information flow between business and technology teams.
- Prepare user stories and acceptance criteria for system changes.
- Recommend and initiate system testing.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 3+ years of SQL programming experience, specifically with Teradata.
- Strong business technology analysis experience in developing technical requirements and using JIRA to create stories, features, and epics.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Corporate Risk experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements surrounding the USA PATRIOT Act and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements.
- Microsoft SharePoint site design and administration functions experience.
- Strong project management and product ownership skills.
- Understanding of the banking industry and products (DDA, brokerage, ACH, wires, etc.).
- Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment.
