Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technology Business Systems Consultant - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 24+ month contract opportunity. This role will join the financial crimes data, platforms, and reporting team. The consultant will assist in writing in-depth business requirements and coordinating with technology resources to develop data and platform systems. Acting as a product owner for financial crimes applications, you will work closely with technology partners to develop solutions, prepare user stories, recommend system testing, and re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiency.
Responsibilities: - Lead or participate in providing technology initiatives for simple to moderately complex business problems
- Contribute to the development of systems and procedures that are both cost effective and meet relevant business requirements
- Evaluate moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation
- Partner with business and technology teams to evaluate business problems and provide comprehensive technological solutions
- Act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process improvement to re-engineer technical processes
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to evaluate and resolve issues, providing technological solutions and managing project schedules and deliverables
- Coordinate communication and information flow between business and technology teams
Requirements: - 4 years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
- 3 years of SQL programming experience, specifically with Teradata
- Strong business technology analysis experience in developing technical requirements and skills in working with JIRA on creating stories, features, and epics
- Strong SQL experience writing queries
- Ability to collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to evaluate and resolve issues
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Desired skills: - Corporate Risk experience
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
- Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements surrounding the USA PATRIOT Act and Anti Money Laundering (AML) requirements
- Microsoft SharePoint site design and administration functions experience
- Strong project management and product ownership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of the banking industry and products (DDA, brokerage, ACH, wires, etc)
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment
- Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS)
Pay range: $36.56 - $44.56 per hour
