Description
We are looking for a skilled Mid Level Software Developer to join our team in Independence, Missouri. In this role, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of various applications and portals, utilizing your expertise in full-stack development. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for growth and the potential to step into leadership responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain applications and portals using full-stack development techniques.
Enhance existing software systems by implementing new features and improving functionality.
Upgrade legacy systems, including transitioning tools from VB.Net to modern frameworks.
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless integration of software components.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain system reliability.
Participate in the design and development of web interfaces to optimize user experience.
Implement best practices for coding standards and software development processes.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
Conduct testing and debugging to ensure high-quality software deliverables.
Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to bring innovative solutions to the team.
Requirements
Proficiency in C# and .NET Framework, with hands-on experience in ASP.NET.
Solid knowledge of JavaScript for front-end development.
Experience working with SQL Server for database management.
Familiarity with Visual Basic .Net (VB.Net) and transitioning legacy systems.
Strong understanding of web design principles and implementation.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
At least 2 years of software development experience.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
