SUMMARY
The client is seeking two (2) Senior Technology Trainers. The Senior Technology Trainer will develop and deliver training and documentation to support applications that are used. These applications may include highly customized or proprietary software, Microsoft Office applications, and specialized technical solutions to support the work.
OFFEROR RESOURCE QUALIFICATIONS
The Offeror shall propose resource(s) that meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
The AOC prefers Offeror proposed resource(s) to have the following qualifications:
- At least five (5) years’ experience as a technology trainer with proprietary and/or advanced off the shelf software (such as Microsoft teams, Co-Pilot, OneNote, SharePoint, etc., applications).
- Three (3) years’ experience with developing technical documentation.
SCOPE OF WORK
Offeror proposed resource(s) shall be responsible for the following:
- Plan, develop, and deliver hands-on instructor led training for commercially available and proprietary software applications.
- Plan and develop documentation, training videos, and instructional design modules for commercially available and proprietary software applications.
- Communicate with the Contract Manager on project plans, status, and updates for each assignment.
OFFEROR RESOURCE(S) SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & CAPABILITIES
Offeror shall propose resource(s) possessing the following preferred skills, experience, and capabilities:
- Experience with:
- Developing and delivering in person Instructor Led training for commercially available and proprietary software.
- Delivering customer training programs using adult learning principles to individuals and groups of users.
- Using Technical applications to support training development such as Camtasia, Articulate 360, Vyond, etc.
- Managing training projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Ability to:
- Use methodologies to plan, track, and deliver high quality technical training.
- Develop technical documentation for commercially available and proprietary software (Quick Reference Cards, Quick Reference Guides, content for the web, etc.).
- Develop video and interactive recorded training to support technical processes.
- Coordinate multiple tasks, resources, and stakeholders effectively.
- Organize and manage time effectively to handle concurrent training initiatives and deadlines.
- Knowledge of:
- Customer service standards when interacting with internal and external Subject Matter Experts.
- Identification and troubleshooting of user-defined challenges and implementing appropriate solutions.
- Microsoft Office applications including Teams, Co-Pilot, OneNote, and SharePoint.
Work Sample:
A work sample that demonstrates the proposed resource’s ability to meet the requirements. Sample should feature Microsoft Office application of their choice (e.g., a module of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.). The training shall be designed to teach a technical topic to a professional audience using adult learning theory.The work sample shall be previously created work by the resource(s). The client prefers that the resource(s) use this work sample during a potential second interview.
