We are looking for an experienced IBM AIX Subject Matter Expert (SME) to design, manage, and optimize UNIX-based enterprise environments running on IBM Power Systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in advanced system administration, high-availability clusters, infrastructure security, and enterprise virtualization.
## Core Competencies
### Enterprise OS Management
* Strong expertise in IBM AIX administration
* Installation, configuration, patching, and kernel tuning
* Filesystem management including JFS2 and LVM
### Hardware & Virtualization
* Experience with IBM PowerVM, PowerVC, and HMC
* Provisioning, partitioning, and migration of LPARs
### High Availability
* Configure and manage PowerHA SystemMirror
* Ensure high availability and mission-critical uptime
### Security & Compliance
* Implement Trusted Execution and RBAC
* Compliance auditing and secure AIX environment management
### Troubleshooting & Performance Optimization
* Advanced root cause analysis (RCA)
* Core dump analysis and issue resolution
* CPU, Memory, and Network performance optimization
