We are seeking a hybrid Business Analyst / Delivery Lead to partner with Business Leaders, Operations Product Owners, and Subject Matter Experts. This role acts as a focal point between business stakeholders and the technology team, serving as a Tech-side Product Owner delegate to define vision, document requirements, and guide the team through the Agile process.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders and product owners to define and document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Act as a Product Owner delegate in Agile routines, managing the Technology Backlog based on business direction.
- Ensure business requirements are properly groomed and translated into system requirements for technical analysts and developers.
- Facilitate communication between the Product Owner and technology teams to clarify requirements and remove ambiguity.
- Develop and present artifacts describing business requirements, such as process flows, data models, and use cases.
- Track requirements during implementation to ensure the developed system aligns with the defined scope.
- Drive the decomposition of work into EPICS and user stories to support a healthy development backlog.
- Work autonomously in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team environment.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 7-10 years of professional experience. This includes a proven track record of 5-7 years as a product owner, preferably in a technology organization, and a minimum of 3-5 years in business or systems analysis within a complex regulated environment.
Technical Skills: Strong SQL skills, knowledge of Oracle, and an understanding of relational databases and distributed systems are required. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, SharePoint, and PowerPoint is also necessary.
Professional Skills: Expertise in Agile execution and applied experience in agile development teams is essential. The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and project needs simultaneously.
