Job Title: Technology Business Systems Consultant 4 / Business Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC or Irving, TX - Hybrid (3 days onsite mandatory)
Contract Length: 18 months (possible extension or conversion)
Pay Rate: $61 - $65
Top Requirements:5+ years of Business Analysis / Systems Consulting experience with strong SDLC exposureExperience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing requirements in Agile (Jira/Confluence)Experience partnering with engineering teams on integrations, APIs, and data flowsPlusses:Experience with SQL or PythonBackground as a Scrum Master or experience managing timelines/projectsExperience in financial services or COO/operations environmentsExposure to GenAI tools for requirements or analysis productivityStrong understanding of risk, controls, and compliance in solution deliveryJob Summary:In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Technology Business Systems Consulting. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Technology Business Systems Consulting challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Lead discovery and requirements gathering for large-scale enterprise initiatives
- Elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements (epics, user stories, acceptance criteria)
- Partner with engineering and architecture teams to define solutions, integrations, and data flows
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to align scope, resolve ambiguities, and drive consensus
- Manage backlog readiness, ensuring requirements are testable, traceable, and clearly defined
- Support UAT planning, test execution, defect triage, and release validation
- Analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with product, technology, and operations stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions
- Apply risk, compliance, and governance considerations into requirements and solution design
- Utilize Jira and Confluence to manage requirements and project artifacts
- Support change management, training, and documentation for implemented solutions
- Leverage GenAI tools to enhance requirements documentation and productivity
