This role involves consulting as an expert to develop or influence initiatives for complex business and technical needs within Business Execution. The position consults on the strategy and resolution of unique challenges, requiring in-depth evaluation to deliver long-term, large-scale solutions. The consultant will provide expertise to senior leadership on business solutions and strategically engage with client personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sessions with accounting stakeholders to gather and document high-quality accounting requirements.
- Act as a liaison between accounting and technology teams to align system design with business needs.
- Support the transformation and implementation of the Corporate Accounting Engine platform.
- Develop test strategies, write and execute test cases, and validate system outputs.
- Ensure compliance with financial controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead complex, enterprise-wide initiatives across finance and technology domains.
- Provide strategic consultation and subject matter expertise to leadership.
- Drive alignment across multi-currency general ledger ecosystems and accounting processes.
- Identify and support risk management and compliance initiatives related to accounting systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable accounting solutions.
- Mentor team members and guide best practices in accounting and system implementation.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years of Business Execution, Finance, or Accounting-related experience with strong accounting domain knowledge. This includes experience gathering accounting requirements and supporting accounting system implementations.
Technical Skills: A strong understanding of General Ledger systems, financial reporting, and GAAP principles is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Banking or financial services accounting experience.
- Experience working on large-scale accounting system transformations.
- Experience with Agile methodology and Business Analysis practices.
- Familiarity with data and query tools such as SQL or Dremio.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across accounting and technology teams.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $81.00 and $87.00 per hour.
