  • Support the development of project schedules, including critical path analysis and milestone tracking.
  • Identify required permits and prepare detailed project estimates.
  • Coordinate with the utility company's major accounts group on outages impacting customers.
  • Develop and manage construction bid packages, lead pre-bid meetings, review contractor proposals, and support vendor selection.
  • Participate in constructability reviews across multiple disciplines, including site, foundation, electrical, relay, and transmission line.
  • Perform quality assurance checks throughout all phases of construction.
  • Monitor project progress against in-service dates and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Ensure strict adherence to utility procedures, regulatory requirements, and safety standards, including OSHA and environmental regulations.
  • Manage contract closeout processes and ensure completion and accuracy of as-built documentation.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and successful execution.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • 10+ years of experience in heavy industrial or commercial construction, with a focus on utility infrastructure projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and quality standards.
  • Familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements, including OSHA and environmental regulations.
  • Experience with construction contracts and labor agreements.
  • Ability to coordinate with contractors, vendors, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Working knowledge of rigging and lifting methods.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent planning and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple project priorities in a fast-paced environment.
