Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

Product Ownership:

  • Owns and manages the Salesforce product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives, data strategy, and client priorities.
  • Defines and maintains product vision, roadmap, and release plans across Salesforce platforms including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
  • Translates business and data requirements into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritizes backlog items to maximize business value while balancing scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks.
  • Collaborates with Salesforce Architects, Data Leads, and Technical Leads to validate solution feasibility and design alignment.

Scrum Master And Agile Leadership:

  • Facilitates Agile/Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Coaches teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Removes impediments, manages delivery risks, and shields teams from external disruptions.
  • Tracks and reports Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, burn-up, and release progress.
  • Drives Agile maturity and consistent execution across Salesforce delivery teams.

Stakeholder And Delivery Management:

  • Acts as the primary point of accountability across business stakeholders and Salesforce delivery teams.
  • Facilitates requirement workshops, backlog refinement sessions, and release planning discussions.
  • Provides transparent updates to leadership on delivery status, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
  • Ensures alignment with enterprise governance, security, compliance, and quality standards.

Salesforce Responsibilities:

  • Ensures alignment with Salesforce best practices and standard platform capabilities.
  • Supports UAT planning, execution, and business sign-off for Salesforce releases.
  • Coordinates with Salesforce Admins, Developers, QA, Integration, and Data teams across global delivery models.
  • Ensures production readiness, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization.

Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field preferred.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of overall IT experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner and/or Scrum Master.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce platforms including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
  • Experience managing enterprise stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, prioritization, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Business Analyst).
  • Scrum certifications such as CSM, PSM I/II, or SAFe Agilist.
  • Experience in Healthcare, Insurance, or large enterprise environments.
  • Experience working in onshore-offshore delivery models.
  • Exposure to Scaled Agile / SAFe frameworks.
