SUMMARY Q2 is seeking an Unified Communications Specialist to lead and support the full lifecycle of enterprise AV/UC systems across all locations. This role requires strong hands-on experience in deploying and supporting enterprise-scale AV/UC environments and a proactive approach to system optimization, user support, and vendor management. The individual will also play a critical role in AV design, solution delivery, and project execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES Provide leadership in planning, configuration, and troubleshooting of enterprise AV/UC systems
Act as technical lead on AV/UC deployment and upgrade projects
Drive AV/UC roadmap discussions in alignment with business needs and IT strategy
Own and resolve high-priority support incidents and collaborate across teams
Provide advanced user support and develop training documentation
Maintain enterprise-wide MDM environments and ensure device compliance
Manage UC vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements
Standardize system documentation, processes, and procedures
Participate in budget planning and technology procurement related to UC systems
Lead preparations and technical support for high-profile events and executive communications
Ensure system availability, security, and compliance with corporate policies
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related technical field and a minimum of 5 years of AV/UC technical support and system implementation experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience
Deep experience with enterprise UC platforms including Zoom, Teams, Zoom Phone, Crestron, Shure, Poly, DSP systems
AVIXA CTS, CTS-I, or similar certification preferred
Strong project management experience with AV/UC rollouts
Proficiency with MDM platforms and mobile device ecosystems
Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong documentation and cross-team collaboration skills
This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
