Job Description
The Department of Management (DOM-DoIT) is seeking a skilled IT Specialist to provide field services and technical support for regional State of Iowa sites. The candidate will support endpoint devices, IT infrastructure, and networking components to ensure business continuity and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
• Provide onsite technical support for IT systems and business applications
• Manage endpoint devices, firmware updates, and security patching
• Utilize ITSM tools for ticket tracking and asset management
• Develop PowerShell scripts for automation and operational efficiency
• Install and configure network equipment (Cisco, Meraki)
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
Required Skills
• ITSM Tools (Service Desk Plus, SCCM, Zoho Endpoint Central)
• Endpoint Management & Hardware Troubleshooting
• PowerShell scripting
• Network device configuration (Cisco, Meraki)
• WAN connectivity troubleshooting
• IT Infrastructure support
• Technical documentation experience
