Designer. Instructional

The requirements of the job may be met with the combination of education and experience stated below.

One year of relevant experience may be substituted for each year of required education.

For example, if a position requires a bachelor's degree and you have no college credits, you may substitute four years of relevant experience for the bachelor's degree.

• Design and develop engaging learning resources, including:

• online courses
• user guides
• manuals
• tutorials

• Utilizing instructional design principles and technical writing best practices ensuring content is accessible, engaging, and aligned with learning objectives.

• Analyze learning needs and objectives with subject matter experts and stakeholders to define clear learning outcomes for adult learners.

• Work with Product managers, business owners, and SMEs to regularly review and update and improve training materials/resources.

• Working with the team, produce new training materials for face to face, online, blended learning programs.

• Assist in the evaluation of learning interventions, gathering feedback and data to assess effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Conduct and facilitate training sessions as needed.

• Research new technologies and training methodologies to continuously improve organizational learning and training.

• Perform other related duties as assigned by the MNPS TIS EDS (Enterprise Data Systems) Management.

KSAs

• Strong knowledge of Andragogy and Learning principles

• High level of public speaking and writing skills

• Understanding of enterprise level applications and systems

• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Punctuality and consistent presence are essential to maintaining a productive and collaborative work environment. *Regular in-person attendance is a fundamental expectation of this position.

Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

Complies with all laws, regulations, policies and standards.
