Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on behalf of our client in Overland Park, KS. This role focuses on enhancing Commercial Lending capabilities through the design, development, and support of scalable applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business and technology teams, contribute to strategic initiatives, and mentor junior engineers while delivering high-quality, secure, and maintainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain clean, scalable, and testable code.

• Lead development, implementation, and support of application components and platforms.

• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues impacting performance and user experience.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-driven technology solutions.

• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in coding and design.

• Stay current with industry trends in banking and emerging technologies.

• Ensure compliance with information security standards and development best practices.

• Participate in evaluation and adoption of new tools and technologies.

• Utilize technical documentation, specifications, and project artifacts during development.

• Contribute to Agile processes and follow established SDLC practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proven experience in software development, implementation, and support.

• Strong proficiency in .NET, ASP.NET, MVC, and C#.

• Experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle preferred).

• Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Commercial Lending systems or loan lifecycle processes.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• Experience with tools such as JIRA and GitLab.

• Exposure to cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or similar platforms).

• Experience working with geographically distributed teams.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
