Sr. Software Engineer

Our Client, a Banking organization, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer for their Overland Park, KS location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Executing against the strategic projects for enhanching the capabilities of the commercial lending business.
• Work closely with LOB and tech to assist in the development, implementation, assessment, and support of one or more environments, applications, or platforms.
• Develops clean, maintainable, testable code for work assigned.
• Actively works resolution of system and client experience impacts for one or more environments, applications, or platforms.
• Provide mentorship and training for Junior engineers.
• Demonstrates active learning regarding industry trends regarding banking and technology.
• Learns and follows information security standards when developing code.
• Assists in testing and evaluating new and emerging technologies during the selection process
• Utilizes technical documentation, specifications, and project artifacts when developing code
• Embraces and follows established standards and best practices

 
Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in business or technology related major or equivalent work experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of relational databases, SQL programming logic and reporting
• Understanding of following languages (.Net, C# , SQL – Oracle)
• Capable of effectively handling multiple priorities
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Experience in commercial lending support one or more areas of the loan lifecycle
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills that can explain technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• Basic understanding of Agile software development methodology
• Experience working on geographically diverse teams.
• Experience with JIRA and Git lab
• Cloud architecture
• Strong understanding of (.Net, ASP.NET , MVC , SQL – Oracle , C#)
