Software Solutions Architect (Salesforce)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Solutions Architect with deep expertise in the Salesforce platform to lead the design, development, and modernization of enterprise applications. This role is responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions while collaborating with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to deliver mission-critical applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Salesforce architecture, enterprise application integration, CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile development, along with the ability to provide technical leadership across large-scale implementation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise Salesforce solutions.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-availability applications using Salesforce best practices.
• Conduct platform assessments, architecture reviews, and solution design sessions.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and oversee proof of concepts (POCs) and solution prototypes.
• Establish and enforce architecture standards, development best practices, and secure application development lifecycle (SADLC) processes.
• Lead technical design reviews and provide guidance to development teams.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines supporting automated builds, testing, and deployments.
• Develop and integrate Salesforce solutions with enterprise applications using APIs and web services.
• Review application security, performance, scalability, and compliance requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide architectural recommendations.
• Mentor development teams and promote technical excellence across projects.
• Participate in Agile planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and release planning.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation, technical specifications, and solution diagrams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise Salesforce solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce platform architecture and application design.
• Experience gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements.
• Strong experience with Java, SQL, Oracle SQL, and web services.
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and Agile software development methodologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring development teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Architect certification.
• Multiple Salesforce certifications (Application Architect, System Architect, Platform Developer, or related credentials).
• Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Field Service Lightning (FSL).
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations.
• Strong Oracle SQL performance tuning and database optimization skills.
• Experience with automated regression testing, release management, and multi-environment deployments.
• Experience working in government, healthcare, or other highly regulated environments.
