Job Title: Interim FP&A Manager

Location: Hybrid Role at Los Angeles, CA (3 days onsite)

Contract Duration: 5 Months

Looking for 

Seeking an Interim FP&A Manager, to help support its global Merchandise lines of business. 
Reporting to the Director, FP&A, this role will serve as a key finance partner to business leaders across Content 
Distribution, Consumer Products, Home Entertainment, and Collectibles.

The Interim FP&A Manager will support budgeting execution, forecasting, monthly reporting, performance analysis, 
and long-range planning. The role will help business owners understand financial performance, identify risks and 
opportunities, and make informed decisions regarding revenue growth, product investment, inventory, profitability, 
and resource allocation. 
The ideal Interim FP&A Manager combines strong financial analysis and modeling capabilities with commercial 
curiosity and the ability to operate across licensing, retail, physical products, and direct-to-consumer business 
models. Experience with consumer products, entertainment, retail, or e-commerce would be particularly valuable.

7+ years of experience in highly analytical environments (e.g. FP&A, Accounting, Consumer Products) 
● Strong understanding of core FP&A processes, including leading budgeting, forecasting, monthly 
reporting, variance analysis, and financial modeling 
● Experience analyzing revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and business performance drivers 
● Experience within consumer products, intellectual property licensing, entertainment, media, retail, 
physical products, or e-commerce 
● Ability to interpret financial results and translate them into clear commercial insights 
● Advanced financial modeling skills, ideally with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets 
● Experience using NetSuite, Adaptive, Board, or other enterprise software 
● Effective communication skills, with the ability to work well across various levels of an organization

Prior experience at a media/entertainment/tech company.
