We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Garland, TX. (2nd and 3rd Shifts)

Job Details

What You'll Be Doing:

• Troubleshoot and maintain production equipment across:

o Processing
o Packaging
o Warehouse systems
o Plant utilities

• Support highly automated equipment including:

o Fillers
o Case packers
o Palletizers
o Conveyors

• Maintain utility systems including:

o Boilers
o Air compressors
o Ammonia refrigeration
o Wastewater systems

• Work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams
• Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs
• Follow GMP, food safety, and housekeeping standards
• Support building maintenance as needed

What You Bring:
Electrical:

• Ability to read electrical schematics
• 480V 3-phase troubleshooting and wiring
• Low-voltage controls
• VFDs and servo systems

Mechanical:

• Welding (MIG, TIG, Arc)
• Pumps, valves, gearboxes
• Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Mill and lathe experience preferred

Controls:

• Allen Bradley PLC experience:

o SLC 500
o PLC 5
o Logix 5000

Additional:

• CMMS experience preferred
• Food or dairy manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work active shifts
