Summary

One of our clients in Manhattan, NY is looking for a Help Desk Support Technician.

 

 

Title: Help Desk Support Technician

Location: Manhattan, NY

Duration: Long-term

Hourly: $30 - $35 per hour (W2)

 

 

Scope of Work:

  1. Manage on-site inventory and hardware requests, including fulfillment of laptops, peripherals, and accessories, while overseeing shipping, receiving, and vendor coordination.
  2. Provide in-person support for user requests, troubleshooting hardware and software issues across MacBooks, ThinkPads, Dell laptops, and desk setups (e.g., dock-to-monitor connectivity).
  3. Handle user access requests for group memberships (e.g., AD, GSuite, Okta), ensuring proper permissions and security protocols are followed.
  4. Assist with network connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, VPN, wired), software installations, and mobile device management (MDM) for company-issued devices.
  5. Collaborate with Office Operations and Network Engineering teams to support in-office tasks, including conference room technology setup and troubleshooting.
  6. Perform routine maintenance and updates on systems, while escalating complex issues to higher-level support when necessary.
  7. Document and track support requests in the ticketing system, ensuring timely updates and resolution for all stakeholders.

 

 

Required Skills/Experience:

  • MAC Experience is a must
  • Asset Life Cycle Management is a must
  • MDM is a must
  • Intune experience is a must
  • Experience providing white-glove support
  • 3-5 years experience in a sys-admin type role
  • Experience with Networking concepts (TCP/IP Protocols, etc)
  • Experience with Google Workspace and M365
  • Ability to troubleshoot AV equipment (Neat Bars, Zoom Rooms, etc)
  • Experience with Active Directory or Okta
