Job Description

Interpret Cable Maps & Labels
Accurately read, interpret, and follow cable maps, labeling systems, and documentation to ensure correct routing and installation of all cabling.
Rack & Stack Equipment
Install, secure, and neatly organize network and server equipment within racks and cabinets, following industry best practices and site-specific standards.
Fiber Installation
Pull, route, and stage fiber trunks-including high-count bundles such as 144-count and 288-count-as well as install, manage, and dress fiber patch cords to support connectivity requirements.
Cable Dressing & Pathway Management
Properly dress, route, and secure cabling based on the designated pathway system (basket tray, fiber runner, etc.), ensuring clean, organized, and standards-compliant installations throughout the facility.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in data center or commercial cabling environments
• Hands-on experience with structured cabling and fiber installation
• Ability to interpret and follow technical documentation, diagrams, and labeling standards
• Familiarity with data center or telecommunications environments preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Chantilly, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
