Salary Range: $70,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans for manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Identify, document, and track defects in production systems.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Analyze test data and generate comprehensive reports on product quality and performance.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring manufacturing defects.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure testability and quality of new products.
• Calibrate and maintain test equipment used in manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in test engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Strong understanding of data acquisition systems, sensors, and instrumentation.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, LabVIEW, or C++ for test automation.
• Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and statistical process control (SPC).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with various testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework, JMeter).
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, Tableau) for defect trend analysis.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements for manufacturing (e.g., ISO, FDA).
• Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) or Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing.
• Scripting proficiency in languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash for test automation and tool development.
