Summary

Hansen Talent Group is hiring an API Integration Developer to supporta team focused on enterprise API development, system integrations, and real-time data services.

This role is ideal for a developer with strong API and integration experience who enjoys building and supporting enterprise services across cloud and on-premise platforms in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite required

What You’ll Do

• Analyze system specifications and develop enterprise integrations to support business and operational needs
• Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain APIs and web services
• Create, modify, and support enterprise integrations using RESTful and SOAP services
• Work closely with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to understand integration requirements
• Support API gateways, service orchestration, and enterprise integration platforms
• Develop and maintain integrations across cloud and on-premise environments
• Test APIs and integrations, troubleshoot issues, and document solutions
• Assist with production support, performance monitoring, and issue resolution
• Participate in the design and development of reusable integration components and services
• Support multiple concurrent integration efforts across enterprise business areas and external partners
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure stable, secure, and responsive integrations

What You’ll Need

• 2+ years of application development or systems integration experience
• Experience developing APIs and web services using JavaScript or Java
• Strong experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs
• Understanding of API integration concepts and enterprise service development
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced enterprise environments with multiple active projects
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR equivalent experience

Nice to Have

• Experience with GraphQL
• Understanding of OAuth, mTLS, and authentication/encryption technologies
• Experience with IBM DataPower, IBM API Connect, Kong, or AWS API Gateway
• Experience with RedHat OpenShift Containers, WebSphere, or Node.js
• Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, BlackDuck, SonarQube, or Artifactory
• Experience with MQ, XML, MongoDB, SQL, Splunk, or Swagger/OpenAPI
• Experience with enterprise systems integration and service orchestration
