Hansen Talent Group is hiring a Developer to support a Managed File Transfer team focused on enterprise B2B integrations, secure file transfer operations, and trading partner connectivity.
This role is ideal for a hands-on integration professional with strong IBM Sterling experience who enjoys solving complex file transfer challenges, supporting critical production environments, and working directly with business partners and technical teams.
Hybrid- Onsite 3 days/week
What You’ll Do
• Analyze, design, develop, test, and support enterprise integration solutions using IBM Sterling technologies
• Gather requirements from business stakeholders and trading partners to develop secure B2B integrations
• Configure and maintain IBM Sterling B2B Integrator workflows, profiles, accounts, adapters, and services
• Manage trading partner onboarding and bi-directional connectivity using SFTP, HTTPS, AS2, AWS S3, and Connect:Direct
• Develop and maintain ITX mapping transformations for EDI X12, XML, datasets, and flat files
• Perform system administration tasks including certificate management, security configuration, and performance tuning
• Troubleshoot production issues using logs, database queries, and monitoring tools across multiple platforms
• Support secure file transfer environments and ensure compliance with encryption and security best practices
• Configure and support Sterling components including SFG, MFG, SSP, SCC, and Connect:Direct
• Create and maintain technical documentation, workflows, and support procedures
• Participate in limited on-call and off-hours support for deployments, remediations, and critical incidents
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and trading partners to ensure stable and secure integrations
What You’ll Need
• 4+ years of application development, systems analysis, or integration experience
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SI)
• Experience developing BPML workflows and integration configurations
• Experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) and trading partner onboarding
• Experience with secure file transfer protocols including SFTP, HTTPS, AS2, AWS S3, and Connect:Direct
• Experience with IBM Sterling Transformation Extender (ITX) mapping and transformations
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and scripting experience (Shell or Perl)
• Strong understanding of certificates, encryption, SSH/PGP keys, and TLS security practices
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex production environments
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR equivalent experience
