Job Summary

UCLA is seeking a senior UKG Pro WFM expert to lead configuration for a migration from Kronos Workforce Central (WFC) to UKG Pro WFM (Dimensions). The role focuses on hands-on configuration, pay and accrual rules, union/collective bargaining requirements, and migration through go-live.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Kronos/UKG Workforce Management experience.
  • Led or played a key configuration role in at least one full-lifecycle Kronos WFC to UKG Pro WFM migration through go-live.
  • Recent hands-on UKG Pro WFM configuration experience within the last two years.
  • Strong experience configuring pay rules, work rules, pay codes, Calculated Accruals, attendance, leave, overtime, holidays, and labor categories.
  • Hands-on Kronos WFC v6.x–8.1.x configuration experience.
  • Experience with Function Access Profiles (FAPs), Display Profiles, Data Access Profiles, Hyperfinds, Genies, and Cross Reference Tables.
  • Experience configuring complex pay and accrual rules for union/collective bargaining agreements, preferably under California labor regulations.
  • Strong requirements analysis, documentation, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.

Required Certification:

  • UKG Pro WFM certification is mandatory.
  • Candidates must provide relevant certification details along with their submission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review existing Kronos WFC configurations and identify items to retain, modify, or retire.
  • Perform fit-gap analysis and translate business policies and union agreements into UKG Pro WFM configurations.
  • Configure pay/work rules, pay codes, accruals, attendance, leave, scheduling, labor categories, and security profiles.
  • Map legacy WFC pay codes, labor levels, and accrual codes to UKG Pro WFM and UCPath equivalents.
  • Document requirements, configuration decisions, risks, and traceability.
  • Test configurations, support SIT/UAT and payroll validation, resolve defects, and assist with go-live and stabilization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • UKG Pro WFM certifications in Timekeeping, Advanced Scheduling, or Workforce Dimensions.
  • WFC-to-Pro WFM migration experience in higher education.
  • Familiarity with Setup Data Manager, Paragon tools, Process Manager/Workflow, and InTouch clocks.
  • Knowledge of UCPath (PeopleSoft), IBM Maximo, and UKG integration concepts.

Knockout Criteria — Must Address in Submission

  1. Led or played a key configuration role in a complete Kronos WFC-to-UKG Pro WFM migration through go-live.
  2. Hands-on UKG Pro WFM configuration within the last two years, including pay/work rules, pay codes, Calculated Accruals, business structure/labor categories, FAPs, and Display Profiles.
