Role Summary
Damco Digital is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern for a part-time, hourly-based engagement to support ongoing marketing and brand-building initiatives. This role is ideal for a student or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in B2B technology and digital services marketing. The intern will work closely with the marketing team to support content development, campaign execution, digital marketing operations, and market research.
Key Responsibilities Marketing Operations & Campaign Support
- Assist in the execution of ongoing marketing campaigns across digital channels (email, website, social media, and paid media).
- Support lead-generation and brand-awareness initiatives for Damco Digital's service offerings.
- Help maintain marketing calendars, tracking deliverables and timelines.
Content & Digital Marketing
- Assist with the creation, editing, and formatting of marketing content such as blogs, case studies, whitepapers, emailers, social media posts, and presentations.
- Support website content updates using CMS platforms (basic edits, uploads, and quality checks).
- Conduct keyword research and assist with basic SEO optimization tasks.
Market & Competitor Research
- Perform market research on industry trends, competitors, and target customer segments.
- Compile insights and summaries to support go-to-market strategies and sales enablement.
Social Media & Branding
- Support social media planning, scheduling, and performance tracking on platforms such as LinkedIn.
- Assist in ensuring brand consistency across all marketing assets and touchpoints.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report on basic marketing metrics (campaign performance, website traffic, engagement metrics).
- Assist in preparing marketing performance dashboards and presentations.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of marketing concepts, particularly digital and B2B marketing.
- Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word (or Google Workspace equivalents).
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and other professional social media platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a part-time, remote or hybrid setup (as applicable).
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to B2B technology, IT services, SaaS, or digital consulting environments.
- Basic knowledge of marketing tools such as CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), email marketing platforms, marketing automation tools, or CMS tools.
- Understanding of SEO, content marketing, or analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus.
Engagement Details
- Work Type: Part-Time
- Compensation: Hourly pay (rate commensurate with skills and experience)
- Expected Hours: Flexible, typically 15 25 hours per week
- Duration: Internship / contract-based engagement (initial duration to be defined, with possible extension based on performance and business needs)
