Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day Time & Labor operations within PeopleSoft, ensuring timely and accurate collection of reported and payable time
- Monitor time administration processes, batch jobs, and TL processing cycles to ensure completion and accuracy
- Troubleshoot Time & Labor calculation issues, rule exceptions, and time reporting discrepancies across employee populations
- Validate payable time results and coordinate resolution of exceptions prior to payroll confirmation
- Support Time Reporter setup, workgroup assignments, task group configurations, and schedule assignments as needed
- Manage and process time adjustments, prior period corrections, and off-cycle time entries
- Coordinate with Payroll, HR, and Finance teams to resolve time-to-pay integration issues and labor distribution variances
- Ensure leave accruals, absence entries, and compensatory time balances are accurately reflected in Time & Labor
- Provide operational stability and continuity during the ERP testing phase, minimizing payroll impact from T&L errors
- Document operational procedures and maintain process logs for knowledge transfer upon engagement conclusion
Required Skills
- Deep expertise in PeopleSoft Time & Labor (HCM 9.1 / 9.2)
- Strong understanding of time administration, rules engine, and payable time generation lifecycle
- Experience with TL-to-Payroll integration and payable time approval workflows
- Proficiency in PeopleSoft Time Reporting Codes (TRCs), Workgroups, Taskgroups, and Schedule Calendars
- Experience troubleshooting batch processing, exception management, and time calculation rule conflicts
- Ability to operate independently with minimal ramp-up time
- Experience supporting T&L operations during ERP transitions or major system testing initiatives
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Higher education or public sector environment experience
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft Absence Management integration with Time & Labor
- Experience with labor distribution and project costing time reporting
- Exposure to PeopleSoft Payroll functional processes (cross-functional T&L/Payroll support)
- Experience supporting organizations preparing for ERP platform transitions (Oracle, Workday, SAP
