Job Summary

This role is dedicated to supporting and enhancing a high-visibility, business-critical Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) application. The selected professional must bring both technical and functional expertise in Clarity PPM.

Primary Responsibilities

• The candidate is expected to work as an integral part of an established application support and PMO tools team, contributing proactively to team goals.
• The role requires strong technical capabilities along with excellent customer-facing skills, enabling the candidate to independently troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues.
• The ideal hire will provide best-in-class technical support and end-user guidance. Core responsibilities include:
• Deliver subject-matter expertise across functional and technical areas of Clarity PPM.
• Recommend, design, and architect system solutions based on business requirements, followed by complete ownership of implementation.
• Configure and customize Clarity components such as objects, portlets, workflows, lookups, and more.
• Lead all technical aspects of Clarity PPM upgrades research, testing, planning, troubleshooting, documentation, and process standardization.
• Assist in developing training materials for end users.
• Provide support and training for various user groups including PMO leads, Clarity power users, project managers, and time entry users.
• Develop, deploy, and communicate system/process changes using eLearning tools.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and global stakeholders.
• Advocate for end-users when functional enhancements are implemented in coordination with vendors and technical teams.
• Monitor the support queue and resolve user issues directly.
• Support Clarity users across the enterprise to ensure smooth adoption and usability.
• Take ownership as a self-starter supporting product stability, continuous improvement, and additional corporate applications whenever required.
• Maintain and enhance the company s Clarity intranet website (training materials, knowledge base, resources, job aids).
• Participate in system updates, upgrades, and testing activities including script creation, UAT coordination, and test execution.

Experience & Skills Required

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience managing Clarity at a technical level, including upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Clarity PPM 16.3x and Clarity PPM New UI.
• Strong understanding of MS SQL queries and Clarity PPM ERD.
• Advanced experience in designing and developing Clarity portlets using NSQL.
• Skilled in GEL scripting to build and automate Clarity PPM processes.
• Knowledge of Clarity PPM Web Services/XOG and Java-based integrations with other applications.
• End-to-end experience across implementation, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, and testing.
• Strong computer application skills including MS Office (advanced Excel skills), MS Teams, SharePoint, and MS Project.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, written, and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive, highly motivated, detail-oriented, and innovative mindset.

Education

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred.

Licenses & Certifications

• ITIL Foundations v4 certification preferred (within 180 days of joining).
