Summary

Job Title: Healthcare IT / EHR Integration Specialist (Remote)-W2 Only
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 12 Months (High likelihood of extension)
Interview Process: One-round virtual group interview
Job Description:
Provide IT support and integration expertise for agenxy’s healthcare technology ecosystem, including:
Electronic Health Records (EHR) System
Lab Information System (LIS)
PACS (Imaging)
Pharmacy Information System
All related interfaces, integrations, and healthcare data exchange technologies
Responsibilities:
  • Support build, testing, implementation, and go-live of healthcare applications in collaboration with vendors, clinical teams, and technical staff.
  • Maintain health IT infrastructure including applications, databases, templates, and reporting tools.
  • Troubleshoot, triage, escalate, and perform root cause analysis for EMR/EHR-related issues.
  • Assist in developing reports for clinical users and leadership.
  • Document current workflows for medical and mental health providers to support system optimization and integration.
  • Provide operational and integration support across EHR, Lab, PACS, and Pharmacy systems.
Required Skills:
  • 7+ Years of Experience with Electronic medical records (EMR), preferably NextGen
  • 7+ Years of Experience with Mirth Lab Systems
  • 7+ Years of Experience EMR Integration
  • 7+ Years of Experience with Interoperability and Data Transfer
  • 7+ Years of Experience with Healthcare IT Operations
  • Experience working directly for a State Government Agency
Preffered Skills:
  • Experience with HL7 Messaging
  • Experience with FHIR
  • NextGen Connect Certificate, EHR Certificate, or Practice Management Certificate
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in one of the following or related field:
Computer Science
Information Science
Business Administration
Health Administration
Mathematics / Statistics / Biological Sciences
Preferred Certifications:
NextGen Connect Certificate
EHR Certificate
Practice Management Certificate
