Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Support application maintenance and operational activities for enterprise systems.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and service requests.
- Collaborate with users and stakeholders to identify, reproduce, and analyze system problems.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based applications and web services.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
|
|
Experience
|
5+ years of experience in Java application development, production support, system maintenance, or software engineering. Experience working with enterprise applications, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting business-critical systems.
|
|
Technical Skills
|
Experience with SQL, Java, SQL, Web Services, Application Support, Troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis, System Maintenance, Production Support, REST APIs, Database Queries, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Technical Documentation
|
|
Business / Domain Skills
|
Experience with Issue Management, Service Request Management, Business Analysis, Stakeholder Communication, Problem Solving, Process Improvement, Requirements Analysis, User Support, Operations Support, Incident Resolution
|
|
Communication
|
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
|
|
Documentation
|
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
|
|
Work Authorization
|
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with enterprise application support and maintenance.
- Familiarity with healthcare, government, or public sector systems.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience working in collaborative Agile or support environments.
