Job Overview: The Facility Operations Lead will serve as the senior facilities authority on-site, focusing on power, cooling, resiliency, and building readiness. This role is critical for ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of the facility, particularly in data center environments.
Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage critical facilities operations, including power and cooling systems.
- Ensure building readiness and resiliency to support operational demands.
- Provide expertise in cooling systems, with a strong preference for liquid cooling experience.
- Collaborate with teams to maintain and improve data center performance.
- Work across multiple locations, including Abernathy, TX, and Buffalo, NY, as needed.
Qualifications: - Extensive experience in critical facilities and building engineering.
- Proven track record in data center operations, with AI data center experience preferred.
- Expertise in cooling systems, particularly liquid cooling.
- Experience with companies such as Equinix, colocation providers, Switch, or CyrusOne is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple facilities and adapt to evolving operational needs.
