Description: Data Management ConsultantAbout the RoleIn this contingent assignment, you will consult on and contribute to moderately complex Data Management initiatives. You will support large-scale planning, analyze data challenges, and help deliver high-quality data solutions. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of data governance, quality, and compliance requirements.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders to define business requirements, improve data quality, and ensure data solutions meet business needs.
Responsibilities- Partner with the Voice of the Customer team to gather, define, and document business and data requirements.
- Provide recommendations related to data sourcing, mapping, lineage, and integration.
- Analyze data from multiple cross-business sources by performing data assessments and profiling.
- Identify, document, and manage business and technical metadata in collaboration with business owners and technical teams.
- Design, implement, and execute data quality rules; perform root cause analysis to improve data accuracy and usability.
- Develop and maintain ETL data lineage and transformation documentation.
- Clearly and consistently communicate project status, risks, and issues across project modules.
- Contribute to resolving moderately complex data issues while adhering to data management policies and standards.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience in Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management.
- 7+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Data integration
- Data analysis or analytics
- Data modeling
- 7+ years of experience using SQL, including data profiling and data quality analysis.
- 7+ years of experience with ETL processes, data lineage, mapping documentation, and data transformations.
- 7+ years of experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or Teradata.
Preferred Qualifications- Strong expertise in data research, analysis, and root cause analysis.
- Experience working with Google BigQuery.
- Knowledge of customer survey data and Voice of the Customer analytics.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to conduct complex analysis on large, critical operational datasets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
