Description:
Job Titile: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Waterloo, IA
Duration: 12 months with possible extension

Job Summary
As a Foundry OFP Manufacturing Engineer, you will lead and support manufacturing engineering initiatives across the foundry floor. Working in a collaborative, team-based environment, you will partner closely with engineers, supervisors, and operators to support order fulfillment and improve manufacturing processes. This role is highly hands-on, with the majority of time spent on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute manufacturing engineering projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production and continuous improvement
  • Provide direct shop-floor support, spending approximately 75% of your time in the manufacturing environment
Required Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience in foundry or process manufacturing engineering
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Project management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Effective communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing manufacturing lines or production processes
  • Familiarity with SAP, MES, Creo, and AutoCAD
  • Background in controls engineering or safety system design
  • Experience programming or troubleshooting FANUC robotics
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology, or equivalent relevant work experience
