We are seeking a hands-on AV and Video Conferencing Support Engineer to provide white-glove support across enterprise conferencing environments. This role supports conference rooms, AV systems, and Microsoft Teams Rooms deployments, with a focus on user experience for executive-level stakeholders. The position requires a professional, customer-facing individual who can operate onsite five days per week and travel between multiple locations in Charlotte.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide white-glove onsite support for AV systems and video conferencing rooms.
- Support Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) including configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Assist with the migration from Cisco-based conferencing systems to Microsoft Teams Rooms.
- Manage conferencing platforms including Teams Admin Center, Call Quality Dashboard (CQD), and Cisco Control Hub.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using tools like ThousandEyes.
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting of AV equipment such as displays and conferencing hardware.
- Support occasional after-hours or weekend maintenance tasks.
- Travel between multiple office locations in Charlotte to support conference room technology.
Required Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 4 years of Technology Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education. Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Teams Admin Center and Call Quality Dashboard (CQD) is required. Strong AV and video conferencing support experience in enterprise environments is also necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Cisco Control Hub and hybrid conferencing environments.
- Familiarity with observability tools such as ThousandEyes.
- Experience supporting large-scale conference room transformations or deployments.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $41.00 and $43.83 per hour. This is a contract position with a duration of 18 months, which may have the potential for conversion.
